En 2024/25, le Musée Hans Erni présentera la première exposition individuelle institutionnelle en Suisse de l'artiste berlinois de renommée internationale Sven Drühl (* 1968 Nassau/DE ; vit et travaille à Berlin). La raison de la présentation de cette position contemporaine dans le musée du célèbre artiste lucernois est que Drühl est aussi polyvalent que Hans Erni : outre sa peinture, Drühl a toujours rédigé des articles théoriques sur l'art et a également publié différents numéros du « Kunstforum International » ; il s'est également fait un nom en tant que collectionneur de peintures de paysages du 19e siècle.

L'exposition présente ces différents aspects de l'œuvre de Drühl en dialogue avec des œuvres de Hans Erni.

In 2024/25, the Hans Erni Museum will be showing Switzerland's first institutional solo exhibition of the internationally renowned Berlin artist Sven Drühl (* 1968 Nassau/DE; lives and works in Berlin). The reason for presenting this contemporary position in the museum of the well-known Lucerne artist is that Drühl is similarly versatile as Hans Erni: in addition to his painting, Drühl has repeatedly written theoretical articles on art and also published various issues of ‘Kunstforum International’; he has also made a name for himself as a collector of 19th century landscape painting.

The exhibition shows these different aspects of Drühl's work in dialogue with works by Hans Erni.
